Comparing Pricing
Is your waste pricing actually competitive?
Most businesses know what they pay each month. Far fewer know how to compare that price meaningfully.
Integra calculates metrics such as Price Per Yard (PPY) to normalize waste pricing across different container sizes and service frequencies. That gives you a better way to understand and compare what you're actually paying for waste service.
What to know
- Two locations can pay very different prices for the same service
- PPY turns recurring service into one comparable number
- It works across different container sizes and pickup frequencies
- It makes pricing differences between locations visible
Try it yourself
Price Per Yard divides what you pay for recurring service by the yards that service provides each month.
Monthly yards = size × pickups per week × 4.33
Price Per Yard = monthly cost ÷ monthly yards
Price Per Yard = monthly cost ÷ monthly yards
